The hardest part of this is having a gel polish, art gel and powder that all match. I often go with white it’s the easiest to match but you can also use the gel polish and clear powder to do this. If you are using the gel polish for the design paint a little bit on a palette and allow it to sit out in the air for a little bit, this will thicken it up for a more raised look and cleaner lines.
- Step 1- Apply 2 coats gel polish, I used Gelish Pink Smoothie
- Step 2/3- Apply Matte Top Coat, cure then cleanse. If needed buff top coat for a completely matte finish
- Step 4- Paint your design using a thicker gel paint. Do not cure yet! I used Gelish Art Form Gel in Pastel Light Pink, it is 2d gel for a raised effect.
- Step 5- Sprinkle matching dip or acrylic powder over the uncured design, allow it to absorb and tap of extra. Now cure the nail. I used Gelish Pink Smoothie Dip Powder
- Step 6- Use a soft brush to remove any extra glitter from the nail. Your design is complete, it will have a raised texture, do not apply top coat on top.
