Welcome to Nailed Daily the blog where it all started! Back in 2011 I had this crazy idea of starting this nail art blog where I would complete 365 nail designs in one year. On Nov 30th 2012 I completed the challenge, it was a huge struggle to commit to but I am glad I did it because it pushed me so much further with my nail art. Shortly after completing my challenge I quit blogging I swore I would never blog again, but here I am back at it 5 years later with much more knowledge, way better photography skills and exciting new nail adventures to talk about. I hope to use this blog to inspire other professional nail techs, I want to share my experiences as an educator, nail competitor and salon owner. I will also share new nail designs and tutorials. I am excited for this new chapter of my blog, it wont be daily but I promise it will be good stuff! I hope you enjoy the content!

The End of a year!!!

Yesterday was the last day of my year of nail art, it didn't end as smoothly as I had imagined, but I did get it done. Last weekend with one week left I realized I had missed a significant amount of posts. It added up to 56 total, at first I was not overly concerned, I figured I could extend it a month and make up the missing designs. I thought I was ok once I accepted the fact I had failed at my challenge, but after a couple hours it really ate me up inside, to invest one whole year and ultimately come up short, there was no way I was going to let this happen!! So I set my mind to it I had 6 days and 56 designs to paint. I went to Instagram asking for request and told my 2000+ followers that this is what I had planned to, that way I could not back out. With a list of over 100 requests I sat down and started to attack it. In those 6 days I finished the missing designs. I am not going to lie, I have been a mess. I consumed an entire case of 4 hour energy drinks and have maybe slept 10 hours total all week. But I am so happy I was able to complete all 365 designs. The last design was painted at exactly 11:37 on Nov 30th. If you are a client reading this, I am so very sorry if you saw me this week, I was probably a little bit crazy! lol!

I just want to finish up by saying thank you! never in a million years did I think I would get as much support as I have over this project, you are all amazing!! XO!

  2. Congrats! You're so talented honestly! Do you do all your art on your own nails on other people. I would be so sad taking it off after just completing it!
